Unspeakable

     This post is about some of the hardest stuff... and I'm not quite sure how to proceed. I do not want to offend anyone who may be following this blog, but please be forewarned, some of the abuse I experienced during my relationship with this man is not easy to hear about. Yet I feel I need to express what happened to me.

     He held great power over me. But I believe it was my weakness and passive compliance that kept me a part of it all. So perhaps the fault is mine as well as his. He was physically handicapped, dependent on others for many things, but so strong and commanding in his personality and demeanor. It became a robotic relationship for me, in that he gave the directions and I followed them...
